LEADING THE WAY WITH RENEWABLE ENERGY
Photon Energy aims to maintain the highest standards of health and safety and takes the safety of our staff and sub-contractors extremely seriously. To aid us in this respect we have a written health and safety policy and our procedures are audited regularly by our independent Health and Safety advisor.
Each member of our staff is required to complete an NHBC Introduction to Health and Safety training course and all our staff and site operatives hold Construction Safety Certification Scheme (CSCS) Cards as an absolute minimum.
Our Installations Director holds the Site Managers Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) Certificate and our Health and Safety Director holds an Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) Managing Safely at Work Certificate.
The company itself is certified by the Construction Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS). CHAS is established as the market leader for health and safety pre-qualification in the UK. It is a non-commercial scheme available to organisations looking for suitably competent suppliers.
We operate a Quality Management System in accordance with the recognised international standard, BS EN ISO 9001:2000. We have a documented set of procedures and a Quality Policy, as well as an Environmental Policy.
Our certification under the Microgeneration Certification Scheme also requires a documented QMS.
We have a written Environmental Policy and all of our employees are encouraged to help ensure the good environmental performance of the company. We also work with our suppliers to reduce the amount of waste materials on site. All of our products are sourced to minimise environmental impact where possible and we encourage our staff to use public transport for travel instead of cars.
Our Quality Management System was certified to BS EN ISO 9001:2000 in March 2008.
