Renewable Energy Systems for Main Contractors
Photon Energy has worked with some of the country’s largest main contractors including Bovis Lendlease, Carillion, Galliford Try, Hill Partnerships, Kier Group, Morgan Ashurst and Volker Fitzpatrick.
Many of our contracts are for large construction projects where we work as part of a wider team. We work closely with other sub-contractors (e.g. roofers, electricians, plumbers) to ensure that we deliver our part of the works as effectively as possible. We are used to scheduling our work to fit in with construction programmes, and have the flexibility to accommodate the inevitable changes.
When we have contact with Main Contractors early on in a development, we are able to advise on the suitability of different renewable energy technologies, and work to design these into the project. We can advise on how to meet the requirements of the Code for Sustainable Homes or various planning conditions.
We are geared up to dealing with large construction sites and are very conscious of the health and safety risks associated with these sites. We are a CHAS Approved Contractor, and our staff (all hold CSCS cards as a minimum) are trained to ensure they are aware of the hazards and we utilise a range of safe working practices. We also employ an external Health and Safety Consultancy to undertake regular audits of our procedures and to ensure that we are fully informed of any legislative changes.
