Vacancy: Business Development Manager

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and hard-working Business Development Manager to create and build relationships with new clients and generate new business in the above sectors.  

You will be responsible for generating and managing leads and closing sales as well as building and maintaining relationships with our clients.  You will assist with marketing activities and attend marketing events and exhibitions as required.

You will be based either at our headquarters in Reading, in Swanley (Kent) or Huddersfield.

The successful applicant must have a technical background with a strong track record in consultancy style B2B selling within the construction industry.  You will have a good understanding of solar PV and the construction industry as well as the ability to self motivate and think creatively.

You should also have excellent written and oral communication skills, be fully conversant with the MS Office suite, and ideally hold an engineering or other numerate degree.  The position will require a degree of flexibility in working hours with occasional overnight stays.

You must have a full UK driving licence, your own vehicle and be legally able to work in the UK.

We offer a good basic salary (up to £40k) and a generous uncapped commission structure plus benefits.
