Vacancy: Project Engineer
Photon Energy is a specialist installer of solar PV, solar water heating and small wind turbines. The companywas established in 2006 and has rapidly become a leading company in the field.
We are now seeking an enthusiastic, hard-working person to join our team. The person will be office based at our headquarters in Reading, Berkshire. They will be responsible for managing renewable energy installation projects. This will include system design work, equipment ordering, site staff organisation and project planning. They will also deal with customer enquiries and preparation of quotations.
An applicant with an engineering degree (or equivalent) is sought. Whilst the person will not be working on site, they need to develop a thorough understanding of practical work. Knowledge/experience of the UK building industry, practical aspects of electrical installations and of AutoCAD as well as relevant Health and Safety training would be an advantage.
We offer a competitive employment package and are based in a fully serviced office in the centre of Reading.
